An Update

It's been a while. :) For the past month, I've been working hard in the background bringing back Alleba.com to its former self, or shall I say, "glory"?

We started off as a Filipino search engine and directory in 2001. Today, after 25 years, we're switching our primary focus a bit. Being at countless flea markets, I saw the need for small Pinoy businesses to have a home on the internet and an easy way to carve their own mark in the online e-commerce space. Our product will make it easy and cost-effective for folks to showcase their products, sell them online and thrive.

That's not to say we're forgetting our roots -- in fact the search engine and web directory are well and alive right here. I don't want all that SEO to go to waste. :)

I've weeded out thousands of dead links, mainly from Geocities and Tripod, and added new, fresh links that are highly relevant to everyone wanting to learn more about the Philippines, its people and culture. There's also an Ask feature, where you can ask stuff about our country, and receive quick responses with links to boot. Hint: it is pretty cool!
