The Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs in 2007

Janette Toral came up with a new initiative of naming the top 10 emerging influential blogs in 2007. I think this is a great idea because it will help us discover new blogs by looking at other people’s lists. Janette is also raffling off $100 to ten lucky bloggers. So what are you waiting for? Read up here and blog about it.

Now, as for my list, I wouldn’t exactly call them influential, but I make it a point to read them everyday because I like their content and writing style.

Off the top of my head, here they are in random order:

Stitching by Aileen Apolo
An Apple A Day by Aileen Apolo
Strangeweed by Eyb delos Santos
My Davao City by Andrew dela Serna (oops that’s me)
Darn Slick by Andrew dela Serna (ahh, shameless promotion)

Not off the top of my head anymore (haha):
Kubiertos by Chris Haravata
GlobalWarming Awareness2007 by Benj Arriola

I need two more! I’ll give it to fellow Dabawenyos:
Dabawenya Jud! by Jojie Alcantara
ERICZOO by Eric Su

I could only mention these blogs because of the August 2006 cutoff. I read about 20 more blogs but they’re all too old!

Kudos to Janette!

  1. Thanks Andrew. This entry looks great. Please don’t forget to post a comment in our contest page when you are ready to submit it. Cheers!

  2. @Jap: hey Jap, you can still nominate me you know! 😀

    @Janette: Yup, done!

@Aileen: You’re welcome! You deserve it!

@Masterofthe: Yes you can add him, like I did just now. Thanks for the idea!

  3. Hmm. I just started my blog this May. Will this suffice enough for a nice nominee from someone as influential as you? 🙂 My other site, alas, isn’t a blog ( I still have to nominate blogs too, so am kind of surfing around today. But am always happy to see a fellow Dabawenyo when I come across one in cyberspace. Gives me the goosebumps that we’re moving on and up. 🙂

  4. Hala! Just browsed thru your blogs and reread your list. Thanks for the thumbs up ha. Actually, you were on my list the first time, but I presumed you’ve been blogging for an eternity already. I nominated your Darn Slick blog, by the way. Keep it up! 🙂
