Blue Eagles Shelling!

Is it just me, or did the Ateneo Blue Eagles completely suck in the last two games of the 2006 UAAP championships? Forget about my earlier post on them. The UST Tigers deserved this championship more than anyone.

JC “The Choker” Intal really showed how flustered he was from not winning the MVP award. He had one chance to prove that he was the real MVP of this season. Well, from what I saw, he certainly isn’t.

And what’s the deal with Doug Kramer, who, after his miraculous shot in the first game, performed so poorly in the succeeding games. That miraculous shot was just that — a miracle.

Ah yes, Macky Escalona, the guy who made the miracle pass to Kramer. I have to give credit to this guy though. He gave his all in the last game.

Chris Tiu was terrific — behind the free throw line.

Tsk, tsk. Do I even dare speak of Ford Arao? That bumbling idiot caused a hell lot of turnovers. Perhaps too many that may have cost us the championship!

::Drum Roll::

Finally, the last AND the least. Rabeh Al-USELESSini. WTF was this guy up to??

  1. It was great but disappointing season. Yes, it’s right to blame JC and Doug for their lackluster performance today. No ifs, not buts… they played poorly. But I still think JC is a great player.

  2. Puso puso! 🙂 I think we were one rebound away from the championship, and the person who should have gotten that rebound (I shall not name you) didn’t do it.
