Startup Weekend Davao<\/a> is definitely happening this Friday, November 9th! Startup Weekend is a 3-day event that will showcase the best of the best minds of Davao City. It is a global grassroots event where developers, designers, marketers, entrepreneurs put their ideas on the table and turn them into business models feasible enough to pitch to potential investors. Hundreds of Startup Weekends have been held in 100 countries around the world, while this would be the first for Davao City. A few have already been done in Manila and Cebu City, with a couple upcoming ones in the works. As a bonus to my awesome readers, I’m giving away two free passes to Startup Weekend.
