Angelo Racoma <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/racoma.com.ph\/archives\/one-great-way-to-improve-the-philippine-economy\/\">calls for the inclusion of the Philippines<\/a> in PayPal&#8217;s list of accepted countries.  I&#8217;m totally for it, but unfortunately our laws are giving them a hard time.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\nI&#8217;m a big Internet spender and I have had numerous run-ins with PayPal not accepting my credit card because it was issued in the Philippines.  Just a few days ago I tried to buy a subscription from a <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.valleyschwag.com\/\">geeky website<\/a>, but try to guess why that didn&#8217;t flourish.  I used to have a PayPal account before while I was living in the USA, but that basically committed suicide when I came back home.  PayPal doesn&#8217;t like the Philippines, most probably because of its <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.pdic.gov.ph\/banklaws\/antimoneylaw.asp\">defective Anti-Money Laundering policy<\/a>.  I don&#8217;t blame them, but it&#8217;s getting to my skin!<\/p>\n<p>If you support Angelo&#8217;s cause, please <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.digg.com\/business_finance\/Can_PayPal_Help_Improve_a_Developing_Economy\">Digg<\/a> his story to keep the flame burning.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>J.
