J. Angelo Racoma calls for the inclusion of the Philippines in PayPal’s list of accepted countries. I’m totally for it, but unfortunately our laws are giving them a hard time.
I’m a big Internet spender and I have had numerous run-ins with PayPal not accepting my credit card because it was issued in the Philippines. Just a few days ago I tried to buy a subscription from a geeky website, but try to guess why that didn’t flourish. I used to have a PayPal account before while I was living in the USA, but that basically committed suicide when I came back home. PayPal doesn’t like the Philippines, most probably because of its defective Anti-Money Laundering policy. I don’t blame them, but it’s getting to my skin!
If you support Angelo’s cause, please Digg his story to keep the flame burning.

Thanks for the link, Andrew! We’re setting up an advocacy site, http://www.paypal4ph.com (still empty right now–we just set up the domain this afternoon)
